HR Framework for PCT restructuring - biggest Union sellout ever ?
Are you over 50 with substantial NHS service and now facing losing your job in the next PCT restructuring ?
Then be very afraid ! Staff side at national level have signed off a framework that gives you three choices.
1. Volunteer for retirement now despite the fact that jour job is going anyway and lose most of your compulsory redundancy entitlement.
2. Bend over backwards to take a job you probably dont want, in a place you dont want, and probably on less pay despite the fact that it is not your fault your old job is going
3. Hang around until June 2007 whilst the Department and staff side strip away your early retirement entitlements under the guise of Age Discrimination legislation which you thought was going to help you find another job.
Dont believe me ? Check out the new HR Framework. Can anyone think of a bigger sellout ? All right, excluding Agenda for Change...
