Question West Midlands

I am a surgical SHO getting married next spring. My wife to be (non medical) is originally from Solihull and wants to move closer to home. I have never worked anywhere in the Midlands. Is there anything I should know; good and bad hospitals; schemes to apply for or to avoid?

Avoid Worcestershire at all costs. I work here and in my opinion the Hospitals are Sh*t.
Try looking at the main Birmingham Hospitals especially Heart of England (Teaching) which is associated with Solihull Hospital.
